Happiness is that one thing everyone is looking for.
Many people, when asked about what they want, would say “To be happy” – without batting an eyelash. And that’s normal! Who wouldn’t want to be happy?
As such, we all look for ways to become happy. We associate happiness with different things such as family, friends, romantic relationships, money, and status.

Then there’s the saying that it’s the journey that matters. Stop chasing after happiness. Live in the moment, and you’ll find it.
But have you ever thought about the correlation between sex and happiness? I mean really thought about it. For sure, a lot of people have equated sex to pleasure and enjoyment, but happiness…?
I stumbled upon this infographic (don’t ask me how or why) titled “Everything You Need to Know About Sex and Happiness”. The title itself implies that there is a connection between the two, but what kind of connection?
The facts presented in the graphic are very interesting, and some of them took me by surprise.
Did you know that…
- 57% of people in unhappy relationships still find their partner attractive.
- Cuddling and kissing is more important to men in long-term relationships!
- Women find happy men less sexually attractive than brooding men. (Okay, this may not be a total surprise.)
- On average, people have to wait 13 years after losing their virginity before having the best sex of their lives. (Right, folks. Start counting now!)
If you want to delve deeper into the topic, I suggest perusing the infographic. You’ll find it enlightening.
