Lately, I’ve been hearing tons and tons of stories from people who believe in the law of attraction and have experienced its transforming power in their lives. And after all this reading, and a lot of pondering, too, I couldn’t help but start to notice the threads—the little themes that seem to weave through many of these stories. And so, today, I’d like to share what I believe to be the most prevalent and most powerful of those common threads, namely:
You gotta relax a little.
Now, the word “relax” isn’t always supposed to be seen as a good thing—not in spiritual circles, anyway. A lot of times, we well-meaning believers encourage each other to “pray more,” “say more affirmations,” “try this new technique.” And it’s not just other people—people who’ve been doing this for a long time and are much more experienced, spiritually-speaking, than me.
