Delivered - glad it helped.

Magnus - some very deep words of wisdom. Thank you for sharing them. It sounds to me like you are a buddhist (talking about Buddhanature gave it away!).

Great comment!

Indeed, great article! As James (and others), I greatly appreciate how you bring your personal inspiration into this. We all have our own teachers, be that great people in our lives, or cultures which inspire us, or religeous teachings. Being able to see what others have to learn us, and applying this in our very real day-to-day life is really what one could call 'the path'.

Certainly, not all tibetans are enlightened, nor all buddhists or all buddhist teachers, for that matter. It is really a highly irrelevant question, though. I think Osho said 'there are no enlightened people, only enlightened actions'. In this sense, those laughing children on the picture 'are' enlightened. And not enlightened, depending on the perspective.

Being able to recognise that we are all in some sense Buddhas, is vital; to see others and self in this way is to see the world through eyes of wisdom and compassion.

Anyway, I digress. Cudos to an excellent blog post!

Maddy - sounds like you have an excellent role model there.

James - thanks for the compliments!

Dear Author - yes, I am well aware of that. This article was simply trying to show those who haven't met the buddhist teachings or the Tibetan way of life that there is a completely different way to deal with our daily problems. Not all Tibetans are enlightened - not by a long shot!
